Elieen Noll ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by St. John's Family Funeral Home & Crematory on Mar. 16, 2026.Eileen Margaret Noll, née Charles, was born September 16, 1932, in the Bronx, New York, to Catherine Marie Kirby and Edwin Wesley Charles. She grew up in New York alongside her sister, Edwina.On May 6, 1950, Eileen married William Francis Noll in the Bronx. Their marriage lasted 47 years until William's passing in 1998. Together they raised four children. Eileen worked in library services for 25 years, retiring in 2000.Eileen spent her life in New York state and was living in Chester before moving to St. Augustine, FL in 2019 to be near her daughter Laura and grandson Joe and his family.She was predeceased by her husband, William Francis Noll; her son, William Edward Noll; and her sister; Edwina Taylor.Eileen is survived by her children: Lynda (Bob MacCubbin), Laura (Joseph Haller), and Kevin (Alice Ridgway) as well as her daughter in law Eydie Noll (William Edward Noll). Her legacy continues through her grandchildren Ryan MacCubbin (Nancy Hawrylko), Kelley Brown, Brianne Noll, Joseph W. Haller. (Kate Garvin), Timothy Haller (Rachael Mott), and William Haller (Christy Scarinzi). She was also blessed with great-grandchildren Sadie Anne MacCubbin, David Brown, Henry Haller, Joseph Haller, Eden Haller, Maven Love Haller, Gracen Elle Haller, Lucas Christopher Haller, and Leeson Edward Haller.Eileen will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life was centered around family, Scrabble and a sometimes dry sense of humor. She will be missed and remembered by all who loved her.A private memorial service will be held in Eileen's honor at a future date.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
