Eleanor Merritt ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Feller & Clark Funeral Homes - Waterloo on Mar. 17, 2026.Eleanor Mae Merritt, 92 of Hamilton, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at her beloved childhood farm house outside of Hamilton.She was born on October 19, 1933 in Hamilton to Orlie and Alice (Renner) Fee. She graduated from Hamilton High School before going on to graduate from the Parkview Nursing Program in Fort Wayne.Eleanor was a passionate registered nurse, practicing in both Indiana and Maryland. She was an active and devoted member of the Cornerstone Church of Hamilton form many years. She loved baking, swimming, knitting, sewing and traveling. She also loved spending time with her family and loved ones.Survivors include:Daughter, Pam Grove of Baltimore, Maryland.Daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Donald Schneider of Crownsville, Maryland.Son, Michael Gerber of Crownsville, Maryland.Four grandchildren and their spouses, Michelle Grove, Justin and Amy Grove, Whitney and Mike Carr and Lindsey and Andrew Connors.Seven great grandchildren, Isaiah Brewer, Isla Grove, Mila Grove, Blake Carr, Colton Connors, Caden Connors and Carson Connors.Eleanor was preceded in death by her father, Orlie Fee; her mother, Alice Latier and one sister, Winifred Lenk.A celebration of life will be held at a later date.Memorial donations may be given in memory of Eleanor to the Cornerstone Church of Hamilton, 7780 South Wayne Street, Hamilton, Indiana 46742.Condolences may be sent to the family at www.fellerandclark.com and on our Facebook page at Feller and Clark Funeral Homes.Arrangements have been entrusted to Feller and Clark Funeral Home in Waterloo.To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Eleanor Mae (Fee) Merritt, please visit our floral store.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
