It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eleanor June Gay of Tipp City, Ohio, who passed away on March 8, 2026, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wiley Luther Hash and Minnie Miller Hash; and her husband Ed Gay. She is survived by: her sons, Jim (Patti), Chuck Steel (Carla), John (Cookie) and Rob (Judy); her grandchildren, Joshua Steel, James, Emily Gay, Justin (Katelyn), Matt (Madisyn) and Thomas Gay (Allie); her stepgrandchildren, Eric (Pam) and Robbie Thomas; her great grandchildren, Madison Steel, Scarlett, Navy, Amelia, Riley Gay, Holden Stump and Gemma Thomas; and her great great grandchildren, Karlee and Jaxson Steel.

Viewing will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home (507 Jefferson St, New Carlisle, OH 45344). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
