She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert E. Kent and Mabel Kent (Detweiler); her husband Paul Rummel; and her sister Betty Treesh. She is survived by: her children, Wayne Rummel (Donna) of Nappanee, Kathleen Cripe (Larry) of New Paris, IN, Elaine Mast (Scott) of Nappanee and Doris Biller (Jeff) of Nappanee. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 26 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home (950 N Main St, Nappanee, IN 46550). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
