Though Eleanor may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Eleanor touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Beck and Ethel Beck (Henningsen); and her husband Robert Hatch Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Robert Hatch Jr. of Hull, MA, Doreen Charlotte Pitts (Hatch) of Weymouth, MA, Tabitha Housman (Hatch) of Weymouth, MA and Jason Oscar Hatch of Quincy, MA.. She is also survived by many sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel (21 Pond St, Hingham, MA 02043). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Hingham (85 Main St, Hingham, MA 02043).

Memorial donations can be made in Eleanor's name to the Hull Senior Center, Wellspring of Hull (https://wellspringmultiservice.org), Croi Health, or to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
