Eleanor Denton

In loving memory of Eleanor Denton of Zanesville, Ohio, who departed this world on March 7, 2026 at the age of 95. Eleanor leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest F. Gill and Myrtle Gill (Crawford); her husband Loren Edward Denton; and her siblings, Fred Gill, Richard Gill, Earl Gill, Thelma Roach, Vivian Kinder and Ruth Williams.

She is survived by: her children, John Bash Jr. (Cathy) and Christine Miller (David); her grandchildren, Brandi Bennett (Mike), Jeb Bash (Christine), Megan LeMaster (Tyler), Wendy Kane (Tim), Sara Knicely (Jeremy), Liz Reitzer and Abbey Irvin (Eric); her great grandchildren, Shayna, Kaitlin, Mikey, Emma, Bailey, Aubrey, Josslynn, Hannah, Zach, Libby, Lilly, Jackson, Cody, Kyle and Allissa; and her great great grandchildren, Riley, Levi, Luke, Josephine, Ben and Barrett. She is also survived by 2 other grandsons, L and L; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home (56 S 5th St, Zanesville, OH 43701). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
