Eleanor "Linda" Davis

Eleanor “Linda” Davis, 88, of Beeville, Texas, passed away on March 6, 2026, at Christus Spohn Hospital Beeville.

Born on February 25, 1938, in Lockhart, Texas, to Maurice V. and Alice Rae (Hall) Walker, Linda lived a life rooted in faith and family. A devoted member of Skidmore Baptist Church and the Eastern Star Organization, she found deep purpose in her spiritual commitments and quiet service to others.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Davis; her parents, Maurice V. and Alice Rae (Hall) Walker; her sister and brother-in-law, Ruth C. (Hildebrand) and Robert E.L. Eison; and her brother and sister-in-law, Maurice V. (Anita) Walker Jr.

Linda is survived by her children, Matthew Davis and his wife Angela, Ruth Cox and her husband Kenneth, and Tracie Fenner; her grandson Andrew Fenner and his wife Maisie; and her great-grandchildren Eian Fenner and Mariska Fenner. She also leaves behind her nephews, Daniel Mahoney and Edward Lindsey. She will be remembered for her steadfast faith, her gentle strength, and the deep love she held for her family and friends.
