He was predeceased by: his parents, William Woods and Esther Louise French (Enns); his daughter Tamara Lynn French Criswell; and his brothers, James Woods French and Roger Dale French.

He is survived by: his daughter Suzanne; his granddaughter Tanya; his wife Gloria Ann Chantaca; his stepson Mario Chantaca; the mother of his children Bonie Lucielle French (Woodard); his children, Raymond Dale French (Linda Sue), Lucinda Ann French Phillips (Jason), Susanne Marie French Schooley and Timothy James French (Tara Sue); and his mother-in-law Mary Adella Chantaca. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Living Faith Family Ministries (1902 Stone St, Saginaw, MI 48602). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
