Elaine Tafoya

Elaine Rosas, born Elaine Tafoya on January 14, 1987, in Garden City, Kansas, passed away on March 10, 2026, in her hometown. She grew up in the Holcomb area and attended Holcomb High School, where she participated in dance and cheer. Those who knew her then remember her vibrant personality and the energy she brought to everything she did. She later earned her CNA license and devoted herself to caring for others.

On March 15, 2013, she married Christopher Rosas. Elaine found joy in expressing herself through poetry and drawing, using her creativity to share her thoughts and emotions. She will be remembered for her artistic spirit and the warmth she brought to those around her.

She is survived by her children, Aiyana, Isaiah, Jziah, Domonic, and Zariah; her mother, Stephaine Tafoya; and her brother, Leroy Tafoya, his wife Kendra, and their children Ayden, Kyle, Cheyann, and Emmitt Tafoya. Elaine was preceded in death by her father, Leroy David Tafoya, and both sets of grandparents.

Her presence will be deeply missed but forever cherished by all who loved her.
