Born May 13,1952 in St. Martins, MD she was the third daughter of the late Irving Washington Lynch Jr. and Eva Lee Cranfield Lynch.Elaine graduated as an honors student with the class of 1970 Stephen Decatur High School. That summer she Joined Boise Cascade as a secretary and worked there during the early development of the Ocean Pines community. In addition, she helped her parents manage their farming operation and performed bookkeeping for several local businesses, finally retiring from Burbage Funeral Home in 2013. She was a friend to all animals both wild and domestic and enjoyed feeding birds, and watching waterfowl come and go from the farm ponds. Decorating the family home for the different seasons of the year was her passion and especially enjoyed Christmas, Easter and Halloween.She is survived by husband Wayne, daughter Sonja Rozaieski (James) and grandson Anthony; sisters, Sharon Young (Nathan), and Sandra Jones; nieces, Jessica Young, Patty McCready, Weslea Coles, Stacey Beard, Heather Dobson and Marea Clement; nephews, Tom Jones, Michael Benson, Brian Berkley and Andy Berkley; uncle, Nelson Lynch; sister in Law, Connie Reeves; Brother in Law, Jeff Berkley; and special friend, Roxanne Williams.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Deborah Benson and Carol Donaway; nephew, Donald Donaway Jr.A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday March 12, 2026 at Sunset Memorial Park, 10845 Ocean Gateway, Berlin, MD 21811.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Worcester County Humane Society, P.O.
