Elaine Georgia

Elaine Georgia, née Van Pay, of Green Bay, passed away on March 12, 2026 at the age of 96 with her family by her side. Born on February 21, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Mary Van Pay. She married Donald Georgia, Sr. on May 8, 1954 at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, and he preceded her in death on December 10, 2019.

Elaine volunteered for ten years at St. Vincent de Paul. She took great pleasure in thrift shopping, often transforming her finds into thoughtful gifts for family and friends. She enjoyed needlework, fishing, spending peaceful days at the family cabin in Pembine, and cheering on the Packers. Above all, she cherished every visit from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her four children, Diane (Mike) Delvaux of Green Bay, Donald Georgia, Jr. of Florence, Wanda (Mike) Sievers of Green Bay, and Mike (Mary) Georgia of Green Bay; ten grandchildren, Jenny (John), Jason (Sandi), Stacie, Katie, Bobby, Allen, Christopher (Kelly), Megan (Gregg), Maria, and Molly; twelve great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Marilyn (Richard) DeKeyser; brother-in-law, Alton Georgia; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her grandson John Paul Georgia, her half-brother Richard Van Pay, and her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Dorothy (Ray) Stroobants, Eleanor (Walter) Edges, Norman (Eleanor) Georgia, Earl (Aggie) Georgia, and Nancy Georgia.
