She spent most of her life in West Haven, where she built a life centered around family, community, and service to others. Elaine worked for many years as a medical secretary and was a long-time manager at Supercuts, where she was known for her professionalism, dedication, and warmth toward both colleagues and clients.Outside of her career, Elaine had a passion for giving back to her community. She volunteered at the YMCA, where she enjoyed reading to children and supporting youth programs. She also loved staying active through exercise, cooking for family and friends, and spending quiet time reading. Elaine was known for always having her hair perfectly done and wearing her favorite jewelry, reflecting her love of style.Elaine is survived by her loving children, Lisa Cologgi and her husband John, and Mark Haskedakes and his wife Heather. She was a devoted grandmother to Haley Kehlenbach and her husband Mark, Paige Cologgi, and Kailani Haskedakes, and a proud great-grandmother to Mason and Hayden Kehlenbach, who brought her great joy. She is also survived by her brother, Frank Milone, and his wife Gwen.Elaine was predeceased by her two husbands, George Haskedakes and Peter Strogie, her sister Anne Shields, and her brother-in-law Robert Shields.She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and deep love for her family. Her warmth and caring spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday March 19 at 10 am at St. Louis Church of St. John XXIII Parish.
