Elaine Farina

Elaine Farina, née Silvestri, passed away on March 12, 2026, in Mantua, New Jersey, at the age of 88. Formerly of Blackwood, she was the beloved wife of the late Joseph P. Farina Sr.

She was a devoted mother to Lisa Walinski (Lee), Lori Ann Farina, Renée Rizzo (Marc), and Joseph P. Farina Jr. (Ruthie). Elaine was a loving grandmother to Kristine (Pat), Ashley (Ryan), Alisha (Nick), Nina, Carmen, Liv, and Bella, and a proud great-grandmother to Nathan, Gemma, and Giada. She is also survived by her dear sister Michelle Oetinger (Tom), Carol Tedesco (Dominick), many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins, and her grand puppy Gracie.

Elaine missed her husband every day and often spoke warmly of their shared love of the Phillies and their season tickets, their travels, and the many happy times spent with friends and family. She cherished the friends she made on Adrienne Avenue, in The Villages, Florida, and in Dover, Delaware. In her later years she found great joy in her new home in Mantua, where she was happily close to family. She enjoyed dining out and participating in activities with her senior groups.

She will be forever remembered and deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
