Eileen Ziesmer ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Orender Family Home on Mar. 9, 2026.It is with profound sadness that the family of Eileen Ann (Pavincich) Ziesmer announces her sudden passing on March 5, 2026, at the age of 58. She lived a life full of selfless dedication to Christ through her loving service to her parish of St. Denis, Manasquan, and was the most loving and generous daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend.Eileen was born in Brooklyn, NY, to William and Catherine Pavincich, and was surrounded by 5 loving sisters, who considered her the heart of their family. As a child, she moved to Spring Lake, NJ, where her family enjoyed so many happy times together. Eileen's love of serving others called her to social work, focusing on geriatrics. She graduated from Rutgers University she received her Master's degree in Social Work and began working in senior care homes and in hospice. Here she comforted and eased the troubles of the aged and their families with her loving counsel.Eileen married Werner Ziesmer in 1995, and the following year they welcomed their much beloved daughter Catherine, who was the great joy of her life. Because of her love for the Lord and the Church, Eileen pursued and earned her Master's of Theology from Immaculate Conception Seminary at Seton Hall University. Through the years, Eileen has joyfully served many Catholic schools, parishes, and offices throughout the Diocese of Trenton with her extensive knowledge and passionate faith in the areas of catechesis, counseling, administration, faith formation, retreats, and social outreach. She was always serving others in faith and generous spirit.Recently, Eileen received the happiest of promotions to the role of "Oma" when her beloved granddaughter Anastasia was born, filling her days with sunshine and love.Those who knew Eileen were forever impacted by her generosity, her keen intelligence, her infectious laugh, her immense creativity, and her true love for her Lord and the Blessed Mother.She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Werner Ziesmer, her most beloved daughter Catherine (Ziesmer) Ostrowski and son-in-law Peter Ostrowski, of Bradley Beach and her precious granddaughter Anastasia. Eileen is predeceased by her dear father William Pavincich, and is mourned greatly by her mother Catherine Pavincich of Lakewood, and her sisters Kathleen Kelly of Middletown, MD, Jeanne Pavincich Kettles of Alameda, CA, Marilyn Gondek (John) of Brick, Teresa Pavincich of Lakewood, and Geraldine Mailley (Christopher) of Brick. She is also survived by her dear nieces, nephews, and godchildren Patricia, Nora, William, Evan, Liam, Emily, Elizabeth, Francis, Josephine, Daniel, and John. The countless friends, family, and coworkers that have been blessed to know her will carry her memory forever in their hearts, being inspired to share with others the great love Eileen showed everyone, and knowing that she is in the arms of her loving Savior who surely exclaims "Well done, my good and faithful servant."Family, friends, and parishioners are invited to attend visitation on Friday, March 13 from 3 - 7pm at the Church of St. Denis, 90 Union Ave, Manasquan. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 14, at the Church of St. Denis, 90 Union Ave., Manasquan NJ at 10am. To send condolences to the family please go to www.orenderfamilyhome.net.
