Allan served in the National Guard. He retired from Oak Ridge Y-12 Plant with 38 years of service. He was an avid car enthusiast.Allan was preceded in death by his sons, Larry Christopher Reed and Allan Reed, II; parents, George and Clintora Reed; brother, George Reed, Jr.He is survived by his son, Charles "Chuck " Reed of Lenoir City; granddaughter, Katie Nicole Parkey in Johnson City.Private family services will be held.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
