He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hill and Mary Hill (Gaffney); and his brothers, Joseph and John. He is survived by: his son Edward II (Rattiya); his wife Evelyn (Beck); his son Joseph (Cathy); and his grandchildren, Thomas, Christian, Vanessa, Justin and Andrew.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church (1017 Keator Ave, Rosendale, NY 12472).
