Edward Southard Coldiron, 95, of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026 at his residence. Born on June 12, 1930 in Crab Orchard, Kentucky, to the late George W. and Laura Myrtle (Brown) Coldiron, Edward lived a life marked by quiet dedication and deep faith. He met his wife Evelyn in Middletown, Ohio, where they raised their daughter Rebecca before returning to Somerset, Kentucky in 1990. A driver for Mobile Oil in Lebanon, Ohio, he also served in the Ohio National Guard and was honored as a Kentucky Colonel in 1995. Above all, Edward was a faithful member and deacon of New Enterprise Baptist Church in Somerset.

He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca and Patrick Gunn; grandsons, Alexander Gunn, Ian and Stefanie Gunn, and Trevor and Ryan Gunn; five great-grandchildren, Lucas, Olivia, Meredith, Aria, and Graham; and his sisters, Georgia Beebee of California and Zula Salisbury of Oregon.

Edward was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Evelyn (Crase) Coldiron; his parents, George and Myrtle Coldiron; his brothers, James and Henry Coldiron; and his sister, Alice Miller.
