It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward M. Lero of Saint Paul, Kansas, who passed away on March 8, 2026, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edward M. Lero to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his brothers, Paul Lero and John Lero. He is survived by: his children, Walter Lero of Walnut and Christy Hoerle (Jason) of Walnut; his siblings, Peggy Lero of Frontenac, Pat Lero of Kansas City, MO, Leonard "Lenny" Lero (Denyse) of Shawnee, KS and Michael "Mick" Lero (Jan) of Shawnee, KS; and his grandchildren, Emmagen Lero, Aubree Lero, Riley Lero, Laiton Moore and Avrin Hoerle. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pierce-Carson-Wall Funeral Home (113 S Main St, Erie, KS 66733). A rosary will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Ambrose Catholic Church (519 N Main St, Erie, KS 66733). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
