Edward Anderson ObituaryPublished by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 10, 2026.It is with considerable sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Edward "Eddie" Anderson, age 87, who was known affectionately as Eddie. He was born on January 21, 1939 and departed this world on March 5, 2026. Although the loss of Edward is profound, his life was filled with meaningful contributions and expressions of his faith. He attended Grant Street Church of Christ where he was a teacher, Deacon, and Elder. Then later in life he attended Decatur Church of Christ. Edward is survived by his wife, Winda Faye Anderson (from Elizabethtown, KY), who were happily married for 65 years. He is also survived by his three children, four grandchildren and one great- grandson. He is predeceased by his father, E.E. Anderson and his mother Cora Pearl Anderson. His memory will be cherished and his life celebrated in the hearts of his loved ones.Visitation for Edward was held on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at 6:00-8:00 PM and the funeral was Monday, March 9, 2026 at 11:00 AM, both at the Roselawn Funeral Home in Decatur, AL.
