Edward Lynn, 92 of Franklin, passed away at his residence on Saturday, March 14, 2026.He was born on April 26, 1933 in Liberty, Kentucky to the late Mark and Makaylee (Sweeny) Lynn. Ed married Thelma (Clements) Lynn. She preceded him in passing. He later married Darlene (York) Lynn who also preceded him in passing. Ed is survived by son, Edward Leo Lynn; daughter, Deborah Lacefield (Billy) and daughter, Judy Taylor-Oliver; grandchildren, April Adams, Eddie Lynn (Crissy), Brooklyn Maule (JJ), Jackie Dowty (Pat), Keith Lacefield, Brent Lacefield (Kate), Jason Ledbetter and Alyssa Taylor (Adam Glover) and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in passing by his parents; his wives; several brothers and sisters and granddaughter, Bryanna Taylor.Ed was employed by Franklin Arvin Automotive, retiring after forty-five years of dedicated service. He was a member of Whiteland Missionary Baptist Church and Franklin Masonic Lodge No. 107. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren and loved his dog, Bella.The family would like to thank Main Street Hospice for all of the kindness and care they provided to Ed and the family. Elder Scott Hauskins will conduct a Celebration of Ed's life on Friday, March 20th, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin with visitation on Friday, March 20th from 4:00 p.m. to time of service at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A private graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, Indiana.Expressions of caring and kindness may be received to the family at www.flinnmaguire.net
