He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Lewis and Clara Lewis Sr. (Roemen); his wife Shirley Thompson of Mary's Catholic Church; his son Troy Lewis; and his daughter-in-law Claudia Lewis.

He is survived by: his children, Terry Lewis (Laurie) of Fulda, MN, Karla Hunsinger (Peter) of Apple Valley, MN and Tim Lewis (Starla) of Le Sueur, MN; and his daughter-in-law Diane Lewis of Amery, WI. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and 5 siblings.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the St. Gabriel's Church (309 SW Lake Ave, Fulda, MN 56131). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
