Edward was born on July 14, 1954, in Salisbury, MD to the late Milton F. Lewis Sr. and Annie V. Lewis.He worked as a farrier and farmer contributing his skills to the agriculture industry. He was a proud member of the Delmarva Coon Hunters Association and the Chincoteague Saltwater Cowboys.He is survived by his son, Edward Lewis Jr.; brothers Milton Floyd Lewis Jr. (Jan), Gerald Lewis and Phillip Lewis (Theresa); sister, Agnes Bradford; grandchildren, Emmashane Lewis and Randall Lewis; as well as step-grandchildren Emma Hixon and Alexis Bowen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews that he adored. His family will remember him fondly for his kind spirit and the joy he brought into their lives.In addition to his parents, Edward was preceded in death by a beloved son, Kevin Lewis and a sister, Barbara Wainwright.A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday March 20, 2026, at Bethel Cemetery, 22365 Bethel Road, Millsboro, DE.In lieu of flowers donation may be made to DCHA-EL, P.O.
