Edward L. Maier

He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Maier and Anna Maier (Otremba); his son Michael; and his siblings, Alvira Schwinghammer, James Maier, Kathy Rosa and Dorothy Schmitz.

He is survived by: his wife Helen Siefermann of Sauk Rapids; his children, Patricia Parsoneault (Jerry) of Roseville, CA, Joan Frederickson (Tom) of Ramsey, Mark Maier (Julie) of St. Cloud, Susan Hendricks (Steve) of Ramsey and Christopher Maier (Mary) of French Lake; his siblings, Laura Rau of Bloomington, Millie Felling of Minneapolis, Abe Maier (Carol) of Clearwater, Sherry Wieber (Don) of St. Joseph and Maxine Goebel of Albany; and his grandchildren, Krista Lesnau, Aaron Knapek, Nicole Lucchese, Sara Cogger, Lee Frederickson, Edward Maier and Lila Maier. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Homes-Sauk Rapids (324 2nd Ave S, Sauk Rapids, MN 56379). A prayer will be held on Sunday, March 15th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, March 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (2875 10th Ave NE, Sauk Rapids, MN 56379).

Memorials are preferred to the Poor Clare's Monastery.
