We are sad to announce that on March 7, 2026, at the age of 94, Edward J. Polaski (La Grange, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret A.; his sons, Bruce, John (Joan) and Daniel Polaski; his parents, Minnie Polaski, and Edward Polaski, Sr.; and his sibling Shirley Polaski.
He is survived by: his children, Ricky (Ellen Moriarty) and Christy Polaski; and his grandchildren, Julie, Nora, Quinn, Duncan, Victoria, Nina and Delaney.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Zarzycki Manor Chapels, Ltd. - Willow Springs (8999 Archer Ave, Willow Springs, IL 60480-1205). A prayer will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Cletus Church (600 W 55th St, La Grange, IL 60525-6611). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Resurrection Cemetery (7201 Archer Ave, Justice, IL 60458).
The family appreciate donations in Edward's name to Breakthrough T1D, formerly known as Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
