Edward J. Nortz

Edward J. Nortz, born August 10, 1971, passed away on March 8, 2026. He is survived by his father, John (Jo-Ellen), his brother Jamie (Dana), his sister Cari (Rob), and his nieces Bree, Mia, and Alyssa, and nephew Ian.

Ed worked as a pressman at Quad Graphics for twenty years, spent twelve years as a sous chef in the restaurant industry, served as the primary caregiver for his late mother, and most recently became a successful stock trader. Family was the center of his world. His eyes lit up with unmistakable adoration whenever he was with his nieces and nephew.

A lifelong New York Yankees fan, Ed also enjoyed days at the Saratoga Racetrack, quiet walks, bike rides, and working alongside family members on home improvement projects. He was a deeply thoughtful man who would quietly give the shirt off his back, find a way to replace it, and never mention it to anyone. His love and kindness remain with all who knew him.
