His life was defined by dedication to his family, pride in his work, and a warm spirit that touched everyone who knew him.Edward was born on September 4, 1943, in San Angelo, Texas, to Antonia G. Estrada and Theodore M. Estrada. Raised with strong values of hard work and family, Edward carried those principles throughout his life.Edward built a respected career as a chef, sharing his talent and passion for cooking with many over the years. He proudly served as a chef at the Royal Oaks Country Club and later at The Petroleum Club of Fort Worth, where his skill, creativity, and dedication earned the admiration of colleagues and guests alike. Through his work, he brought people together around the table-something he cherished deeply.Above all else, Edward was devoted to his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Mary Lou Estrada, who stood by his side through life's joys and challenges. He was a proud father to Theodore Edward Estrada of Arlington, TX; Martha Lynn and Jerry Watson of Decatur, TX; Cindy Ann and Brannon Jackson of Lawton, OK. He was also a proud grandfather to Brigitte, Jason, Justin, Cara, Braxton, and Tenley, and a cherished great-grandfather to Sophia and Mayson, all of whom brought him great joy and pride.Edward is also survived by his brothers Rudy and Linda Estrada, Louis Estrada, and Robert and Lupe Estrada, as well as his sister-in-law Alice Estrada, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will forever treasure his memory.Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Antonia G. Estrada and Theodore M. Estrada; his brothers Theodore, Manuel, and Joe; his sisters Ophelia, Margie, and Sara; and his beloved Daughter, Brenda. He was also preceded in death by many dear nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart.Edward will be remembered for his warm spirit, strong work ethic, and unwavering love for his family. His kindness, laughter, and the memories he created will remain in the hearts of those who loved him.Though he may be gone from our sight, his love and legacy will live on through his family for generations to come.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
