Edward Earl "Eddie" Ingersoll

Edward Earl "Eddie" Ingersoll

January 22, 1962 March 7, 2026

White Hall, AR

Edward Earl Ingersoll, known affectionately as Eddie, age 64, of White Hall, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2026, at his home surrounded by family. Born on January 22, 1962, in Prescott, to Terrell and Olgia Ingersoll, Eddie was a man of kindness, humor, and deep compassion who touched the lives of everyone around him.

For 26 years, Eddie worked as a Route Salesman with Blue Bell Creameries, where he built genuine friendships with customers and colleagues alike. Though he delivered ice cream, it was the warmth and sincerity he brought to each encounter that left a lasting impression. On March 27, 1987, he married the love of his life, Donna, and together they shared 38 years of laughter, adventure, and an unbreakable bond. A devoted member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, Eddie found strength and community in his faith and cherished the many friendships formed there.

His greatest joy came from his role as a father to Jeremy Ingersoll (Ashley Fulks) and Melanie Frost (Brett), and as a grandfather to his beloved granddaughter Maelyn Frost and step-grandsons Kesler and Sawyer Frost. He loved gathering with family around the dinner table, sharing stories, and enjoying the outdoors through gardening, hunting, fishing, and taxidermy in earlier years. In quieter moments, he found pleasure in watching old Westerns and classic army movies.

Eddie is survived by his loving wife, Donna; his children, Jeremy and Melanie; his granddaughter, Maelyn; his step-grandsons, Kesler and Sawyer; his siblings, Frankie Ingersoll (Kathy) and Patti Akins (Eddy); and several nephews, nieces, and great-nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Terrell and Olgia Ingersoll; his uncle, Donald Ingersoll; and his niece, Mandy Davis.

His family will carry his memory with them always and will miss him dearly. In keeping with his generous spirit, donations in his honor are being directed toward creating care packages for chemotherapy patients at UAMS.
