He was born in Four Mile,KY to Florence and John Oren Dunn on November 28,1934. Edward retired in St.Augustine, FL as a realtor. He was a very active member and Worshipful Master of Ashlar Masonic Lodge and the Worthy Patron of his Eastern Star Chapter in St. Augustine and the Grand Lodge of Florida, the York Rite and the Scottish Rite having achieved the highest degrees of these organizations as well as being an advisor of the Rainbow Girls.Edward is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Frank Finley Dunn, and sisters, Callie Dunn, Verda McGill, and Versa Slusher, and daughter, Velinda Walton, nephew James McGill and niece Dorenda Huffman.He is survived by his sisters, Virgie Costner, and Dora Gambrell. He is also survived by his children Veronica (Tom) Paine, Vivian (Rick) Jones, Paul (Jeannine) Dunn, Philip (Ari Shorish)Dunn, Patrick Dunn, and Venetta Garrison.Edward is also survived by grandchildren, Steven Dunn, Paul (Kala)Dunn, Krista Matthews, Mitchel Matthews, Ethan Jones, Ellen McLeod, Victor Dunn, Jerrad Walton, Brianna Medley, Tiffany Paine, James Paine and Daniel Paine. He is survived by nephew Dennis Gambrell, and niece, Delinda (Steve) West. Edward was blessed with many great grandchildren, great nieces and great nephews as well.The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 14th at Click Funeral Home.
