Edward D. Stearn

1949 — 2026

Dallastown, PA

Edward D. Stearn, 76, of Lower Windsor Township, passed away on March 11, 2026, at WellSpan York Hospital.

Born on September 20, 1949, in York, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Luther Stearn and Nora (Cooper) Stearn. In January, he and his wife, Barbara A. (Wolf) Stearn, celebrated 58 years of marriage. Edward dedicated 50 years of his working life to Kinsley Construction, where he served in various departments. He found great joy in farming and boating, and he was cherished for his unique and often quirky sense of humor that brightened the lives of those around him. A deep love for animals and profound pride in his family defined much of who he was.

Edward was a member of the Prince Athletic Association and the Red Lion VFW. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; his daughters, Michele and her husband Ed, and Tracey and her husband Sean; four grandchildren, Nicole, Eddie, Cameron, and Brody; and three great-grandchildren, Joseph, Jocelyn, and Abigail. He is also survived by a brother, five sisters, many nieces and nephews, and his beloved cats, who were dear companions.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters.
