He is survived by: his wife Dotty Benningfield of Columbia Two; and his siblings, Stephen Benningfield of Elizabethtown, Andy Benningfield of Hodgenville, Carolyn Loebig of Elizabethtown and Ann Smith of Hodgenville.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Grissom-Martin Funeral Home (200 Campbellsville St, Columbia, KY 42728). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
