Edward Arnold Meyers, Sr.

Edward Arnold Meyers, Sr. of Palm Coast, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2026. Born on February 7, 1941, in Newark, New Jersey, Edward was a man of great integrity who brought a strong work ethic to everything he did. He served in the U.S. Army and received an honorable discharge in October 1959. He worked as a dedicated electrician and later as a safety watcher in high-voltage electrical yards.

Above all, Edward was a loving husband, father, and brother. For nearly 62 years of marriage, he remained deeply devoted to his wife, Rose Marie Meyers, serving as her attentive caretaker with selfless care and affection until the very end.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Claire Meyers, his father, John Meyers, and his brothers, John and Frank Meyers. Edward is survived by his sister, Louise Meyers Gibbons, his brother, James Meyers, his beloved wife, Rose Marie Meyers, and their two sons, Edward Arnold Meyers, Jr. and Paul John Meyers, along with their wives, Eileen Miller Meyers and Christel Donath Meyers. He cherished his six grandchildren—Carissa, Briana, AJ, Evan, Kira, and Connor—and his six great-grandchildren, Lilliana, Russell, Mason, Autumn, Everett, and Anthony.

Edward enjoyed fishing, crabbing, horse racing, visiting the casino, and cooking, and he loved sharing stories from his past. His family will carry forward the fond memories of his life. As he wished, his ashes will be spread at sea off the coast of Atlantic City, New Jersey, in a private ceremony.
