Edna Partin Collier

Edna Rae Partin Collier, born August 18, 1939, passed away on March 12, 2026, at the age of 86. She was a woman whose presence warmed every room and whose laugh could light up any space she entered.

At her core, Edna was a homemaker in the truest sense. She created a home where love formed the foundation, the door stood always open, and every person who crossed the threshold felt they belonged. She possessed a rare and generous gift for caregiving that she offered freely, not only to her family but to anyone in need of a steady hand, a warm meal, or a compassionate heart. When someone was hurting, Edna showed up.

She gave herself completely to the roles she cherished most: devoted wife, nurturing mother, and the kind of grandmother and great-grandmother whose arms were always open and whose heart never ran out of room.

She is now reunited with her husband, Josiah Collier; her daughter-in-law, Purificacion Collier; her parents, Benjamin and Janie Partin; and the ten siblings who preceded her. She is survived by her sons, Josiah (Sherri) and Larry; her daughters, Brenda (Kelvin) and Shirley; 12 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren; and two brothers. More than fifty people remain to carry forward the legacy of a woman who loved so well.
