Edna Pearson ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by MacDonald Funeral Home & Cremation Services on Feb. 26, 2026.Edna Pearson, 97, of Demorest went home to her Lord and Savior on February 24, 2026.Edna Pearson was born in Bethel Springs, TN on September 26, 1928, the daughter of Cora and Hugh Owen. She had four sisters, Willie, Ruth, JoEllen and Dorothy, and one brother Billy. She grew up on a farm, moving to Memphis at age 15 with her sister. Her first marriage, though it didn't last, was blessed with a son, David Fulton. She married her sweetheart, Tom Pearson on Christmas Day, 1958. Tom and Edna were blessed with three sons and one daughter. At a citywide crusade, she gave her life to Jesus in 1960. As a pastor's wife, she was quite busy with teaching Sunday School, choir, missions and fellowships. She also worked as Activity Director at Fair Haven Nursing Home and Office Manager at Pearson automotive. She enjoyed being a Greeter at Idlewild Baptist, her church home since 1989. She loved quilting, cooking, gardening and spending time with her family.She is survived by her three sons: David and his wife Mary, Craig and his wife Rhonda, Scott and his wife Joyce and Todd and his wife Jeanne; eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, daughter and Husband.A celebration of Edna's life will be held at First Baptist Church of Lutz on Tuesday.
