Edith May (Kuhnle) Darrow

Edith May Darrow, née Kuhnle, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on March 9, 2026, at the age of 86.

Born on December 22, 1939, in Towanda Township, Bradford County, Pennsylvania, to Frederick and Florence (Kirkendall) Kuhnle, Edith spent her life as a devoted homemaker and farm wife. She found deep satisfaction in tending her flower and vegetable gardens, which brought beauty and abundance to her family. An avid reader, she cherished quiet hours with a good book, and she maintained a lifelong love for horses.

A faithful member of the Burlington United Methodist Church, Edith drew strength and community from her faith throughout her years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul L. Darrow, her son Scott Darrow, and her sisters Elizabeth Lutz, Noami Pepper, and Donna Madigan.

She is survived by her sons, Timothy Darrow of Burlington, Pennsylvania, and Terry (Becky) Darrow of Narvon, Pennsylvania; her daughter, Jennifer (George) Ingrassia; her grandchildren, Brittany (Peter) Stevenson, Caleb (Brianna) Darrow, Hannah Oswald, and Andrew Ingrassia; and her great-grandchildren, Tyson Darrow, Rayne Darrow, and Tate Stevenson. Her family will carry her memory with enduring love and gratitude.
