Edith Louise Foreman

Edith Louise Foreman, aged 88, was born on September 26, 1937, in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and passed away there on March 5, 2026, after a long illness. She inspired those around her with her resilience, grace, and exceptional spirit throughout her life.

Edith worked with dedication and integrity as Manager at NEX Dam Neck until her retirement. She found joy in gardening, interior decorating, and preparing wonderful meals that brought family and friends together. A longtime member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, she remained active until her health prevented her from attending. She also gave generously of her time and heart through the Daisy Chain Charity & Social Club.

Above all, Edith was a loving wife, mother, and friend whose gentle touch, empathy, and steadfast support touched everyone she knew. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jasper Foreman, Sr., her parents David and Francis (née Johnson) Foreman, and her sons Jasper, Jr. and Anthony. She is survived by her daughter Tegie, her sons Klicka and Shawn (Dallas), her sister Mary, her daughter-in-law Maria, her treasured grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and many loving cousins, extended family members, and friends.
