Eddy "Mike" Brown

Eddy “Mike” Brown, 75, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026. He was born on August 12, 1950, in St. Joseph to Edgar and Chareena (Teegarden) Brown and grew up in Amazonia, Missouri.

Mike worked as a car salesman for many years before becoming a self-employed house painter for the last 35 years of his life. A longtime member of Eagles Lodge #49, he enjoyed playing fastpitch softball, shooting pool, and golf. Above all, he cherished his family and remained a steadfast, loving presence in their lives.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his former wives, Karen Kay Brown and Cindy Sue (Rowe) Brown.

Mike is survived by his children, Chad Brown (Jenny) and Jeremy Brown; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Gary M. Brown and Janet Chamberlain (Paul); and his significant other, Janice Erickson, who lovingly helped care for him.
