Eddie Ruth Prosser Jordan

Eddie Ruth Prosser Jordan of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, passed away on March 16, 2026, at the age of 81. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose quiet strength and devotion left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

She was predeceased by her parents, McLendon Prosser and Mettie Creel Prosser, and her siblings, McCrey Prosser (Martha Jean Prosser), Hellen Prosser, and Ray Prosser.

Eddie Ruth is survived by her husband, John L. Jordan; her children, Cynthia Lowery (Robert) of Charleston, Marilyn Jordan of Daniel Island, and John Jordan, Jr. (Kim) of Charleston; her grandchildren, Jordan Crowder (Corey), Caroline Lowery, Robert Lowery, Jr., Brittany Robbins (Thomas), and Kinsey Jordan; and her great-grandchildren, Sullivan Crowder and Caroline Crowder. She is also survived by her siblings, Patricia Clark of South Carolina and Terrell Prosser (Sharon) of South Carolina, along with many nieces and nephews who will carry forward her memory.
