Easter D. Ent

Easter D. Ent, 88, of Muncie, passed away on March 11, 2026, just months before her 89th birthday. She was born on May 24, 1937, in McCreary County, Kentucky, to Mattie Tucker Nevels and John William Nevels. The youngest of nine children, Easter grew up surrounded by a large and loving family.

On April 24, 1988, she married John W. Ent Jr., and together they shared many years of companionship and family life. Easter was a loving mother, stepmother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her son, Ricky Hudson; her stepchildren, Yvonne Carmack, John Ent, and Lori Thomas; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her son, Leroy Hudson, in 1990.

A proud member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion in Yorktown and the Ladies Auxiliary of AMVETS in Hartford City, Easter found joy in community involvement and the lasting friendships she formed through these organizations. She will be remembered for her humor, kindness, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
