Smith Professional Services on Mar. 13, 2026.Celebration of Life"A Worthy Woman of God"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.On March 11, 2026, our beloved Angel and Virtuous woman of God gained her sings and entered into the gates of Heaven to join her Heavenly Father.Earline Hill Denton was born to the union of Everett and Lucy Hill on May 21, 1940, in Houston, Texas. She accepted Christ at a young age, attending Pentecostal Baptist Church. During her formative years, she attended and graduated from Jack Yates High School in 1959 where she was an active member of the Ryan Cadets. Upon graduation, she briefly attended Texas Southern University. Her career path then led her to nursing, where she attended Texas Woman's Nursing College. She pursued a career in nursing and became an LVN.While attending college, she married her high school sweetheart and soul mate, Charles Denton in 1960. Their union was blessed with two sons, Nahan and Tony. Earline dedicated her entire career to nursing at various hospitals and caring for the elderly. Her life and legacy were defined by a deep-seated care for others and an unwavering dedication to the family she truly loved.Earline was preceded in death by her loving parents, Everett and Lucy Hill; brothers, Horace, William, Everett, Jr., her son Tony; sisters, Lillie B., Dorothy and Doretha; nephew, Darnell; nieces, Ardell and Octavia; sister in laws Gradie, Ester and Margaret.Her legacy continues with son, Nathan, his wife, Carol, Tony's wife, Lane; her siblings, Marya and Edward; best friend, Miranda Mitchell, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a vast host of relatives and friends.To send a flower arrangement in memory of Earline (Hill) Denton, please click here to visit our sympathy store.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
