Earl Ray Hutchinson, age 84, passed away peacefully at Hospice Satilla on March 11, 2026, after a short illness. Born in Baker County, Florida on November 28, 1941, he was the son of the late George Cecil Hutcheson and Pauline Johnson Hutcheson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ed, Jimmy, and Vernon Hutcheson.
Earl served his country in the United States Navy and remained a faithful member of Newbern Baptist Church throughout his life. He enjoyed a long career in the trucking industry before retiring.
He is survived by his sons, Cecil Ray Hutchinson of Waycross and Timothy Earl Hutchinson of Savannah; two grandchildren, Chris Hutchinson (Angel) of Millwood and Sara Nicole Hutchinson of Waycross; six great-grandchildren; his brother, Kenneth Hutcheson of Waycross; and his sister, Martha Hutcheson of Jacksonville, Florida.
