Duane Ferrell Calvello Jr. of Garner, North Carolina passed away suddenly on Thursday February 19, 2026, at WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina. He was 76 years old.

He is survived by his loving Wife, Kimberly "Kim" Calvello of Garner; Son, Richard "Rick" Calvello of Clearfield, PA.; Sisters, Gail Aveni Stephens City, VA and Beverly Zack The Villages, FL; Stepson, Chad Wathen Tampa, FL; Sister in Laws, Brenda Niezgoda, Cary, NC and Judy Calvello, Hazelton, PA. 2 Grand Children, and 2 Great Grand Children.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Dave Calvello, and Sister Sandy Portonova.

He loved his cats, and especially loved spoiling his two Schnauzer puppies, Bella Dawn, and Miley Mae who were never far from his side no matter where he was or what he was doing.

He loved taking trips in the RV with his wife, Kim and his two puppies, to the Mountains and many other destinations.

One of Duane's passions was riding Harley Motorcycles, and he owned many of them during his lifetime.

He loved Cars, Old Cars, New Cars, and Fast Cars. He loved Hard Rock Music, especially AC/DC. He was a lifelong Pittsburg Steeler fan.

Duane never met a stranger, and he was a wonderful person inside and out. His smile was so stunning that it would always light up the entire room. He had an unconditional love for his family and friends, and he was loved by all who knew him.
