He was predeceased by: his parents, John Frederick Larson and Ruth Julia Berg; his wife Clarabell Ann Larson; his brother Gordon Frederick Larson; and his great grandchild Andrew Duane Collins.

He is survived by: his children, Sherrie Merrow (Clyde), Cynthia Hildebrand (Bob) and John Larson (Jane); his grandchildren, Jonathan Larson (Kristin), Jessica Valentine (Colin), Joshua Larson (Gabriella), Christian Hildebrand (Kristin) and Kelly Collins (Billy); and his great grandchildren, Addalyn, Ben, Kate, James, Eliza, Isaac, Lydia, Aiden, Peter, Josiah, Evan, Judah and Joanna.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Liberty Bible Church (824 N Calumet Ave, Chesterton, IN 46304). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Graceland Cemetery (1505 Morthland Dr, Valparaiso, IN 46383).
