Dr. Robert "Bob" Barkin

Dr. Robert Barkin, 85, passed away after a rich and accomplished life. He was the beloved husband of Diana, née Geifman, for more than 60 years, and the devoted father of Stacie Barkin and Stephanie Barkin (Matthew Colrain). He was the proud Papa of Sydney “Sunny” Barkin-Colrain and the loving dog-grandpa of Ben. He will be deeply missed by his many friends and colleagues.

A talented pharmacologist, Bob was a pioneer in the field of pain management. He achieved his personal goal of 5,000 medical citations during his distinguished career. He and Diana traveled the world together, where he delivered lectures and explored new places with great enthusiasm.

Above all, Bob cherished his family. His deep love for them remained the center of his life, and he will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
