Dr. Nicholas “Nick” Przystawski, 65, of Leesburg, Florida, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, following a sudden heart attack.
For thirty years, Dr. Przystawski served the Leesburg community as a podiatrist. He was deeply committed to his patients, often devoting long hours at the hospital and his office to ensure they received the care and attention they needed.
Outside of medicine, Nick lived an active life centered on family, the outdoors, and service. He loved camping, fishing, and cycling, and was especially passionate about Scouting, where he served for many years as a leader and mentor. To the many young people who grew up alongside his sons, he was affectionately known as “Coach Nick.” He volunteered countless hours coaching youth soccer, basketball, baseball, and tennis, offering guidance and encouragement that left a lasting impression.
Nick was preceded in death by his father, Nicholas Przystawski. He is survived by his sons, David (Sydney) Przystawski and Kevin Przystawski; his mother, MaryAnn Przystawski; his brother, Dr. Brian (Susan) Przystawski; his sister, Christine Pryce (Christopher Shean); and his two grandchildren, William and Evelyn Przystawski. He will be remembered for his quiet dedication to his family, his patients, and the many young lives he shaped through coaching, scouting, and friendship.
