He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph Stenglein and Lauretta Stenglein, and his siblings, Mary Madler, Thomas, and Daniel.
Douglas is survived by his wife, Alice Stenglein; his sons, David Lawrence (Beverly) and Brian Joseph (Lisa); his daughter, Deborah Bronner (Curtis); his grandchildren, Jessica Chowdhury (Adnan), Caden Kiedrowski (Jessica), Mark Stenglein, Paul Stenglein, Jake Kiedrowski, and Ella Kiedrowski; his great-grandchild, Juniper Kiedrowski; and his siblings, Paula Duffield, Joseph (Rose), and Timothy (Michelle). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
