Douglas Ray Sanderson of Swanton, Ohio, passed away on March 16, 2026 at the age of 67. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother whose presence brought warmth and steadiness to those around him.
He was predeceased by his parents, James Sanderson and Sandra Sanderson (Johnson). Douglas is survived by his wife, Kristene Ragan; his children, Angela Sanderson-Haupt (Brian), Jeremy Sanderson (Victoria), James Sanderson (Brooke), and Dylan Sanderson; his grandchildren, Nikki, Wyatt, Cooper, Blake, Jayden, and Taytum; and his siblings, Michael Sanderson (Rita), Wanda Tibai (Larry), Daniel Sanderson (Michele), and Beth Lee (Alfred).
His family will remember him for the quiet strength and deep devotion he showed them throughout his life.
