Douglas R. Chonko

Douglas R. Chonko, age 87, passed away on March 13, 2026. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary (nee Masterson) and the devoted father of Kathleen Chonko-Kerr (Glenn), Daniel (Laura), Douglas (Beth), Eileen Roach (Rob), and Thomas (Laura). He was the cherished grandfather of Annemarie, Coletta, Brianna, Brendan, Megan, Allison, Colin, Kaitlin, Kyle, John, Bryan, Mikey, Alyssa, and Ryan, and the loving great-grandfather of Gabriella.

Born to the late Ella (nee Kowal) and Matthew Chonko, Douglas was the brother of Sandy Taft and the late Donald Chonko. He was a cherished uncle and friend to many, remembered for the quiet strength and steadfast love he showed his large and close-knit family throughout his life.
