Douglas H. Hadley, 90, of East Greenbush, passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, March 12, 2026. Born in Waterloo, Indiana, to the late Harold and Margaret (Burlow) Hadley, Doug lived a life marked by quiet dedication to his family and the things he loved.

A Korean War-era Army veteran, Doug was a longtime member of the East Greenbush VFW, the Melvin Roads American Legion, the Rensselaer Elks Club, and the Albany Curling Club. He spent his entire career as a self-employed advertising salesperson. He was known throughout East Greenbush for his unmistakable Green Bay Packers-themed car and his deep passion for the team.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Karla Hadley; daughters Stephanie Estrada, Cherie (Bruce) Goetsch, Margaret (Jeremy) Kreiger, and Heather Bachandouris; sons Douglas (Wendy) Hadley and Kurt (Shana) Hadley; brother Mark Hadley; sister Sally Hadley; and sister-in-law Jeannine Hadley. Doug leaves behind 26 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren on the way, and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom he cherished.

In addition to his parents, Doug was predeceased by three sons, Michael, Kenneth, and Greg Hadley, and by his brother Donald Hadley.
