She was the daughter of the late William Ligon Perry and Allie Knowles Perry born on April 1, 1938. She was preceded by her daughter, Allie Rochell Butler, four sisters, Georgia Ann Stewart (her twin), Ardella Shropshire, Lillie Sneed, Madgeline Brooks, brothers, John Henry Perry, Thomas Jett, and Richard Perry. She was retired from Lindale Manufacturing and a member of Oak Hill Missionary Baptist Church where she accepted Jesus Christ at an early age.Survivors are her loving family, son, Marcius D. (Sharronda) Thompson; grandchildren, Casimir, Boyd, Jammal, and Craig Dozier; great grandson, Kainen Dozier; son-in-law, Walter Butler; brother, Gene Hudgins; nieces, nephews, cousins, other extended family, friends, and her church family.Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2026 at 2:00 P. M. at Oak Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 265 Oak Hill Road, Summerville, Georgia 30747 with Pastor George Beavers as Eulogist and other Ministers officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service. Interment, Oak Hill Church Cemetery.
