Dorothy Margaret Ellingsen

Dorothy Margaret (nee Klaesges) Ellingsen, age 88, of Maplewood, passed away February 25, 2026, one day before her 89th birthday after battling an illness. She was born February 26, 1937, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is survived by her children: Christine Kirchner (Greg Lanz), Michelle (David) Bruder, Christian Brent Chase; grandchildren: Nicholas Kirchner, Nathan (Christa) Kirchner, Raina (Neal) Kelly, Eric (Amber) Bruder, Ryan (Nicole) Bruder, Alicia Bruder; and great grandchildren: Allison Kirchner, Tyler and Oliver Kelly, Kinsleigh Bruder, Emmett and Dawson Bruder. Dorothy had a deep faith and relationship with God. She was a kindhearted individual, helping and caring for others throughout her life. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at Simonet Funeral Home, 6429 Osgood Ave N., Stillwater, MN 55082 with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at St. Michael's Cemetery in Bayport.
